TX SUBURBIA MUSIC FESTIVAL TO OFFER WORLD CLASS CULINARY FOOD EXPERIENCE FEATURING THE BEST EATS FROM LOCAL AND REGIONAL BUSINESSES
– Live Nation and Legends Present Diverse Array of Cuisines, Many from Plano-based Businesses, at First Ever Suburbia Music Festival at Oak Point Park & Nature Preserve on May 3 & 4 –
Music fans coming to the Suburbia Music Festival on May 3 and 4 will enjoy an unprecedented experience in North Texas of 40 performances from chart-topping, award winning contemporary and indie music bands encompassing all artistic genres. In addition to great music, the festival will also feature a large-scale, fabulously flavorful and diverse classic Texas and global food experience for fans, providing something for every appetite in a relaxing, refreshing festival setting outdoors. A wide assortment of recipes will be prepared and served from food trucks, providing options to satisfy every palate during the two days of exciting entertainment in the gorgeous springtime open-air setting for the event.
The stellar Suburbia musical lineup performing at Oak Point Park & Nature Preserve in East Plano includes Grammy Award®- winner David Guetta (“Titanium” and “Without You”), Grammy Award®-nominated Alabama Shakes (“You Ain’t Alone” in Dallas Buyers Club) and the Grammy Award®-nominated J. Cole, (“Power Trip”) among many other major bands on stage beginning at 11 a.m. on May 3 and continuing through the night of May 4. Food trucks, many specifically from acclaimed local businesses in Plano, will feature an appealing cultural array of Texas, global cuisine and fusion recipes, sweets and snacks for fans to enjoy.

The acclaimed Legends culinary team, innovator in leading top-quality, chef-driven and from-scratch food at world event destinations including AT&T Stadium in Arlington, will also feature food trucks and additional food concepts, including the Tailgate Grill, at Suburbia with such fan-craved signature recipes as:
Hickory Smoked Bent Buckle BBQ Chopped and Sliced Brisket Sandwiches Plenty of Legends’ famed Bent Buckle house-smoked brisket, slow-smoked 16 hours with Bent Buckle signature seasonings and generously smothered with signature Bent Buckle BBQ house-made sauce, served to on a fresh-baked roll.
The Cowboys Cheese Steak Sandwich A fan-craved recipe with spicy, Texas-style seasoning. Tender sirloin cut beef, topped with all natural jalapeno jack cheese, sautéed onions on a fresh house-baked Hoagie roll.
The Chef Crafted Signature Cheese Burger An unbelievable double burger, with a signature Stadium-blend of Certified Angus chuck and Certified Angus brisket, topped with garlic aioli, aged cheddar and caramelized balsamic onions. The perfect side to this flavor sensation are hand-cut fries, prepared from fresh potatoes and cooked to yummy greatness.
The Southwest Chicken Sandwich An amazing classic favorite of savory grilled marinated chicken, topped with crispy lettuce, tomato slices, pepper jack cheese, crispy buttermilk onion and signature Bent Buckle BBQ sauce – all on a freshly baked brioche roll.
Imported, craft and domestic beers will be served by Legends at Suburbia along with food in all of the Prairie, Meadow and Cedar Room concert stage areas.

House-Cured Pastrami Pretzel Sandwich Our version of a Traditional spice-rubbed-and-smoked pastrami, shaved thin and piled high with sauerkraut, house mustard and Swiss cheese on a fresh-baked pretzel roll.
Southern-Fried Turkey Brioche A soulful sensation, fabulous turkey marinated in buttermilk and fried golden-brown, then carved and served on a brioche roll with roasted piquillo pepper aioli, pepper jack cheese and caramelized onion.
Texas-Sized Chicken and Waffle Sandwich A beloved savory and sweet meal of chicken and waffles gets a fabulous sandwich update. With American Soul Food influences, this new recipe features hand-battered tender chicken classically seasoned and fried, with house-made waffles. Delicious layers of chicken with crispy onion rings, pepper jack cheese, pecan-maple mayonnaise, crisp bacon are stacked between two Texas-shaped waffles.
Gluten-Free Shaved Turkey Sandwich A fantastic and satisfying option, this sandwich features shaved hickory smoked turkey and crisp lettuce served on a fresh-baked gluten-free roll.
Suburbia Sushi Rolls Hand-rolled assorted fish and vegetarian maki rolls, served with fresh wasabi, pickled ginger and soya.
Oak Point Park Chef’s Salad Created to honor the beautiful setting and location for Suburbia, this craved salad features crisp baby greens, boiled egg wedges, dried cranberries, tomatoes, carrots, fried tortilla chips and avocado-jalapeno ranch dressing.
Legends will also feature Cut Fruit for fans.
The food trucks will be strategically located throughout the festival site, with many in the Prairie performance area, and with food trucks in the Meadow and Cedar Room stage sections.
